3/29 Students completed the Introduction to Cold War Worksheet. We began grading it.
4/1 Graded the "Introduction to Cold War" worksheet by introducing various topics of the Cold War. Students were assigned the Cold War Project and students picked their topics. The project is due Friday, April 5th.
4/2 Students worked on their Cold War project, due Friday. Viewed "America: The Story of US: Superpower". Reviewed the mid-term exam that was taken last week. Began the "Cold Shoulder" activity of who would be allowed in your bomb shelter during a nuclear attack.

4/10-11 Students finished presenting their Cold War topics. Students finalized their presentation notes. Students evaluated the Cold War topics by ranking and justifying the most important Cold War events. Students vote on who would stay in the bomb shelter in the Cold Shoulder Activity.
4/12 They took the Cold War quiz. We wrapped up the Cold War by looking further in depth into various Cold War topics.
4/2 Students went through a carousel, looking at projects well done, getting any notes they might have missed. They took the Cold War quiz. The Civil Rights Movement was introduced with the question: What do you do when the rights the government promised has not been provided? Civil Rights was defined. Students brainstormed on the rights that were promised to Americans after the Civil War.
